Centrepiece of the concert hall lighting is an enormous 14 segment chandelier of tubular steel and cast aluminium construction.

Hollow section are filled to avoid acoustic resonances, and each of the winchable assemblies is individually counterbalanced the spectacular ‘straight’ effect is achieved by the use of over one thousand low voltage tungsten halogen lamps, each capable of independent adjustment-festooned on suspension wires with each row dimmable under control from a central computer.
